What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is not a feeling, it's a state of mind. It feels different for everyone, and anyone can go into hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a natural and relaxed state of mind that allows you to focus inward, and tap into your subconscious. In this heightened state of focus, you gain access to the information in your subconscious, which gives you greater clarity and awareness, making it easier to make changes, and overcome any challenges.

By accessing the subconscious, hypnosis helps uncover the deeper motivations and belief patterns that have influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors throughout your life. Through guided techniques, hypnotherapy empowers you to replace unwanted emotions, habits, and beliefs with healthier ones, and develop a more positive mindset. We guide you through the healing of traumas or events that may have caused negative beliefs to form in your subconscious mind. This process supports personal growth, making lasting change feel natural and achievable.

This therapeutic approach, sanctioned by the medical community since 1958, has been instrumental in addressing chronic pain, supplementing anesthesia, and treating psychogenic illnesses and substance dependence. Widely embraced by accomplished professionals in medicine, dentistry, and psychology worldwide, hypnosis is a respected intervention with a history of scientific backing. Ongoing research conducted at esteemed institutions like Harvard and Stanford continues to explore and validate the diverse clinical applications of hypnosis, with findings regularly published in esteemed medical journals.

Hypnosis is Safe and Effective

PIC4.webp

Hypnosis is often misunderstood, but it’s actually a safe and effective way to improve well-being and break unwanted habits. It works by helping your conscious mind relax so that you can access your subconscious more easily. Throughout the process, your mind is always protecting you—you stay in control and fully aware of what’s happening. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything against your values or beliefs. There are no negative side effects—only the changes you consciously choose to make.

  • Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes! As long as you want to be hypnotized, you can be. Anyone can be hypnotized as long as they want it, and have the ability to focus and follow instructions. Hypnosis is simply relaxing your mind into the Theta Wave state.
  • Does hypnosis help anxiety and depression?
Yes! Hypnotherapy is a very effective way to address the fears and trauma that are driving your anxiety, so you are not being controlled by them anymore. It's also great for learning how to manage anxiety in the moment, and pulling out of the depression cycle.
  • How much does it cost? Price?
It depends on what your goals are, and what needs to be worked on. Most services need multiple sessions, and some are less, some are more. The subconscious is resistant to change, so it takes some time and work to make permanent changes. Getting scheduled for a Free Consultation is a great way to connect with your hypnotherapist to discuss what exactly you need. We can then determine how many sessions will be needed to reach your goal, and what the price will be. We offer discounts for Veterans.
  • I'm having issues with scheduling

  • Is hypnosis mind control?
No, Hypnosis is simply a heightened state of focus in the Theta Wave state. You're conscious and aware the whole time, and can talk and respond. You can emerge yourself at anytime during hypnosis, because you are completely in control.
  • How many sessions?
For most goals, several sessions are needed in order to make permanent changes in your subconscious mind. The subconscious is resistant to change, so one or two sessions might not be enough to really find the core of the issue, resolve it, and form new healthy habits. We use hypnosis in a therapeutic way, and prioritize fully resolving the issues or blocks, so your behaviors and habits align with your goals.
  • Are Zoom sessions just as effective as in person sessions?
Yes! As long as you have a computer or device with a camera and microphone, and we can hear each other, online video sessions are just like in person. You'll find a comfortable place to sit or lie down, and we will make sure I can see and hear you and you can hear me. That's it! Services are offered Nationwide.
  • Can Hypnosis help ADHD?
Yes! Hypnotherapy has been used to help reduce the symptoms of ADHD, including in children and teens. The subconscious mind is responsible for the urge to shift focus, lose time, and other symptoms that those with ADHD suffer with. Therefore hypnosis can help program helpful habits that will give you control over your life.
